Skeinwalker's hand-dyed yarns
Did you know that Skeinwalker is also hand dyeing yarn?!
In March 2025, I (figuratively 🙂 ) fell in the dye pot, and I started hand dyeing yarn in small batches.
I'm drawn to color, nature, geology, architecture, abstraction, and experimentation with art and textiles. So yarn dyeing was a natural extension of my passion for knitting and the (fiber) arts.
Simplicity and minimalism in construction for maximum effect in stitches are what I'm looking for in my knitwear designs. Skeinwalker Yarns reflect this exploration: The colorways have subtle color shifts and are perfect for stitch work (lace, mosaic, cables, etc.) and a multitude of yarn-based projects.
